Prestonpans

[Preston Tower]

Modern-day Prestonpans has swallowed up a series of smaller settlements here on the East Lothian coast. Apart from the outlook over the Firth of Forth the modern centre aint that exciting, but one of the original settlements (Preston - Priest Town) has left behind a beautiful market cross and a four-storey tower complete with nearby doocot (dovecot), half a mile or so back from the sea front.
